2021-09-22-Change in School Start and End Times

Dear Bridgewater-Raritan School Community,

Last week, I shared the challenges facing the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District related to  transportation. Currently, the district is experiencing a significant shortage of bus drivers, thus affecting our ability to provide transportation to every student.  District administration conducted an analysis of the situation, and the solution will require changes to school schedules in several of our buildings.  These changes will remain in place for the entire  2021-22 school year but should not be seen as a permanent change to the current school schedule.

The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District will implement the district schedule listed below starting October 4th.  Additional information specific to your student will be disseminated by building principals on Monday, September 27th. Updated busing information from the Transportation Department will be made available next week.  Once more, I would like to thank the Bridgewater-Raritan school community for their continued patience and support as we develop solutions to the problem at hand.

Lastly, please understand that we may experience delays during the initial implementation of this plan.  This is not the fault of our drivers as they are doing everything within their power to get students back and forth from school safely.
