A fun night of reading at Van Holten

A fun night of reading at Van Holten

Reading can be fun.

The Van Holten Primary School and its community can verify that.

The school’s staff supported the annual Barnes and Noble Night on Friday, March 15, an event that was created in an effort to raise money for the Van Holten Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) but also to inspire a love for reading/books.

Teachers joined Principal George Rauh to  read some of their favorite children's books to their students as the children sat enthralled listening to the many different stories read to them. The family event was well attended as there was a buzz in Barnes and Noble throughout the entire event.

Principal Rauh summed up the fun evening.

"It was a great event that was well attended. I enjoyed sharing a book and then talking about its message with our children. It was wonderful to see so many of them get it! We can not wait for next year's event!"
