Dear Van Holten Families,
With the end of summer near the excitement of a new school year grows. I hope your family
had a fun filled summer.
It is my pleasure to welcome your family to the 2023 – 2024 school year, which will begin on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. The first day of school is a full day. Van Holten School’s start and end time for a full day of school remains the same (8:55 AM –3:15 PM).
On the afternoon of Friday, August 25, 2023 families will be able to learn their child(ren)’s class placement for the school year by accessing PowerSchool. For information on how to access
PowerSchool, you can visit Van Holten School’s website at vh.brrsd.org and click on the “Parent
Resources” tab then scroll down to “User Guides” where you will find “PowerSchool Directions
for Parents”.
Other important information about the start of the school year will be sent to
families over the coming weeks.
