Democracy in Action at Van Holten Primary School!
This Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, Van Holten students stepped up to the ballot box! Students gained the opportunity to vote and practice their civic responsibility when they chose this year’s yearbook cover. Our students were excited and eager to go to our PTO-created voting booths to cast their votes that will help determine our yearbook cover.
By taking part in this special election, our young learners are discovering how democratic choices work in real life. They are learning that their opinions count, their choices make a difference, and exercising their voice helps shape our entire school community! Go Huskies!
Books attracted students throughout the week of September 14 to 18, during the Scholastic Book Fair at Van Holten Primary School. The students' week of browsing was sponsored by the Van Holten PTO.

Due to electrical upgrades, Van Holten School will be closed starting on June 25th for approximately two weeks. No office staff will be in the building during this time. If you need to contact the school, please leave a voice message on our phone system or email the individual you need to contact. Staff working in the summer are checking both while working in another location. Thank you, and we will notify families when the power is back on.

Maschio's Tasting
Each summer, the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Council of Schools Association provides a variety of summer programs to the students in the community. If any BRRSD staff members are interested in running a camp for the first time, then the deadline for upcoming camp proposals is January 25.
