NAHS ceremony

A farewell to the Class of 2026 members of the National Art Honor Society at Bridgewater-Raritan High School was held on Friday, May 29.

The Somerville Elks Lodge was the venue for the National Art Honor Society's memorable closing banquet.

Art Teacher Sarah Nasson, who is the Advisor of the National Art Honor Society at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, sent off the seniors for their long hours of hard work throughout their membership in the honor society.

With about 19 seniors graduating, Ms. Nasson had the honor of congratulating her students on fulfilling another year of membership. With the special celebration came exciting news to the members.

Art Teacher Jason Draine will become a co-Advisor of the National Art Honor Society at Bridgewater-Raritan High School for the 2026-2027 school year.

With a closing remark, the evening was filled with love, excitement, and tears, all stemming from completing yet another successful year in the honor society.

Throughout the year, the National Art Honor Society saved more than $2,000 from just two paint parties! Furthermore, with half the cabinet being seniors, new officers were recognized for their placement in the cabinet at the start of the 2026 -2027 school year.

The new officers, already with ideas for future fundraisers, were excited to pass in front for acknowledgment of their new leadership positions.

Sarah Nasson stated, “I am very happy to have graduated from a wonderful class of 2026 NAHS members. I look forward to the coming year!
