The girl’s tennis team at Bridgewater-Raritan High School is practicing for a season when optimism is riding high on the courts at the Green Knoll Tennis Center.
First-year coach Evan Rosenberg is one who is filled with confidence entering the season that will start on Tuesday, September 3, when Bridgewater-Raritan is the host to Mount Saint Mary Academy at the Green Knoll Tennis Center. The match will kick off at 4 p.m.
“We are looking to bounce back from last year's disappointing season,” said Coach Rosenberg in reference to last year’s 6-12 finish.
The lineup will feature Jess Kozyra at first singles, Maddie McInerney at second singles and Neha Ashok at third singles. Riya Senjalia and Rhia Evans will team at the first doubles and Vivian Chao and Sky Cabatu will form the second doubles.
We have a great group of returners, promising newcomers, and strong senior leaders who are eager to return Bridgewater-Raritan back to the top of the Skyland Conference,” Coach Rosenberg said.
