If students in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District are searching for a fun night, then the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center is the place to be on Saturday, September 27.
The Jewish Community Center’s first Kids Night Out of the school year will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the building that is located at 775 Talamini Road in Bridgewater.
According to the officials at the Jewish Community Center, students are urged to “ bring their camp and school friends together for an unforgettable evening packed with swimming, sports, pizza dinner and dessert, and non-stop fun! “
The officials went on to explain this entertaining evening that is open for students aged 5 to 11.
“Our supervised program will have everyone splashing in the pool, shooting hoops and playing games in the gym, and filling up on delicious pizza and sweet treats. Whether you're diving into the pool or diving into dessert, this is the perfect way to reconnect after the summer and celebrate a fantastic school year ahead!”

The Bike Bus was off and running the morning of Friday, May 2. Students, parents, staff members, and the Bridgewater Police Department pedaled their way to the Van Holten Primary School in the inaugural Bike Bus ride to school activity. The bikers and police cruisers met first in the Glen Ridge Swim Club parking lot and then pedaled their way, guided by a police escort, up Talamini Road to Country Club Road and then to Stony Brook Road to the path leading to the rear of the Van Holten building. They will participate in this ride to school every Friday morning until the conclusion of the school year.
